No, I’m just not one to spread false information about high is more harmful. To act like black people were just suddenly more united back then is just disingenuous. Yes pre-segregation and pre crack we were amongst each other all the time cause we had to be. We called each other brother and sister way more frequently. But to act like the black family wasn’t torn a lot back then I’d just straight up false. Way more domestic violence and child abuse. Plenty of cheating. Gangs still existed. Instead of trying to act like one thing (crack) led to where we are today is just dumb.
Ok but black people were still among the most United communities. Compare the marriage rates, the rate of kids living in single parent Homes, etc to today

You should have the right to enter into a relationship with anyone you want and homophobia is disgusting. You just should identify as black and nothing else.
You got dealt a s***ty hand here, you gotta accept it and play with it. The most significant problem you face as a black gay man comes from the fact that you're black first so you should unite under that identity to get the most chance on your side to actually accomplish something. You'll never be able to completely beat the problems you face as a black gay man so just do what you can and fight for the cause that's the most impactful in your life. Let your kids fight for the black gay cause when racism will be over, it's counterproductive now.

I think that's a whole nother issue that's related to black culture's insistence on placing light skinned people on a pedestal
But it also has to do with the objectification of women and that's something I don't want to nor can I reasonably speak on with me not being a woman and all.
History has created this whole divide.
Light skinned slaves were given better preference than their dark counterparts.
