This why it should be stressed that it is far more productive to end stratification and the idea of race as a whole instead of pushing “race inclusivity”
Your skin color plays no role in who you are intrinsically, it’s society categorizing you based on the arbitrary color of your skin that’s the issue because it raises you with that sense of self perception
Man i just watch movies for the art of cinema
Leave all that other s*** at the door
Then why are you telling him not to watch movies "made for black people" when colorism runs across all film/tv entertainment?
Was there a single light skin person in all of black panther?
"NO BUT THERE SHOULD HAVE BEEN WHY IS WAKANDA ONLY DARK SKIN NIGGAS WE NEED BALANCE. DISNEY TRYING TOO HARD"
Then why are you telling him not to watch movies "made for black people" when colorism runs across all film/tv entertainment?
movies made for black people specifically are milking the fact they are black

You weren't wearing a Dashiki to Black Panther
COON /s
notice your own word choice of " black gangs look like evil animalistic thugs"
you dont notice anything here?
It was intentional.
I understand the need for those movies in the 90s and early 2000s. I actually appreciate that they didn't glorify gangs like popular movies about Italian gangster's did.
Was there a single light skin person in all of black panther?
@op doesn't count movies based in Africa like that and coming to america
movies made for black people specifically are milking the fact they are black
@op made it a point to mention the show Martin. Martin is not centered around his race.
Was there a single light skin person in all of black panther?
This what I mean by it being some s*** straight out of Africa.
Also, I don't really see Michael B Jordan as a dark skin.

cap
black people didn't come up with the concept of race and abandoning it while the white cops, landlords, bankers, etc. don't is f***ing stupid.
what should happen is people should stop caring about being lightskin or darkskin and should focus back on the fact that they're both black

Never said it should start and end with black people
Those feudal aspects as a whole are a tactic for the rich to divide us. Tons of white folk suffer too but they’ll happily do it out of their sense of racial superiority or whatever stupid reasoning they give
@op made it a point to mention the show Martin. Martin is not centered around his race.
But Martin wasn't made recently so what OP want me to do about a TV series that started when I was born? Current content is shifting to have us in more of a variety of roles but it always comes down to what you SUPPORT
and give attention @op

well white people just aren't abandoning it because it's helpful to them. so when you say people should abandon race as a concept, it's only gonna be the people who don't benefit from it while the people who do keep it.
literally advocating for black people to separate while uniting white people
Colorism in commercials is the worst imo. The robber always has to be white, the dumb person always has to be white. They never have black robbers in commercials
Lmao this is true. Security companies are afraid to put a black robber in their commercials.
