People can produce special effects to the level of Hollywood productions on their computer. Soon people will gravitate more towards fan films than hollywood productions where they have to pay 15 dollars per ticket

beyond AI being used for special effects and other things of the sort, nah

most people are already done with AI and do not want to engage with AI 'art' knowingly

the video in op got 800k views in 6 days, and its 15 seconds long. ai content is being introduced on every single large media platform whether people enjoy it or not. and its now popularly used in non-ai memes thereby making it more and more acceptable on all levels. im not saying this to make fun of you or be overly negative or sound assured but people like you and i no joke have to be mentally prepared for being in the vast minority in terms of ai content consumption. because it just might contribute to cynicism and disillusionment not just in the internet but in life as a whole. tldr dont ever kill yaself!!

honestly this couldnt be further from the truth

99% of people's aesthetic concerns don't go beyond tuning into the latest trending netflix goycattle bait (nearly indistringuishable from gen ai)

there's not much reason to believe they would be opposed to full blown ai performances and sfx

Every time someone makes a case for AI's capabilities in high-end visuals, they cite a 5-10 second sequence devoid of any context, natural action, or point. Only end result is you having to acknowledge that the models have really come along since last you cared to peep one of these things.

The only thing inevitable here is regurgitated output, and of course studios always have, and will continue to peddle low-grade stuff as long as it makes money sense, until people stop responding to it.

I don’t doubt that there are talented people out there who can make great films with AI.
