You're also using the same argument rep wearers do - as long as it looks good, they don't really care.And obviously there are multiple other arguments, like the impact on environment. I think ChatGPT is fine as an advanced search engine but all those generative AI that make images, music, video etc. make absolute bullshit and f*** up the environment at a crazy rate.
Also has lead to tech components becoming way more expensive which personally affects my life as a lot of things I like are becoming ridiculously high-priced due to this stupid shortage caused by the resource hoarding by these AI data centers

In all seriousness, in 2026, do people really care about that?
That sounds like something boomers would’ve said when cell phones/text messaging/the internet came on the scene - “What?! You’re telling me that I can’t see and touch someone? I can only hear their voice and see words on a screen?! Where’s the human connection in that?”
I’m not overestimating anything. this is how coders react if you tell them you’re thinking of making an AI artist. they know its takes away the human entirely. once a person understands that and what’s behind it, they are immediately disconnected
