Cuz mfs rather waste valuable time and energy into fighting people about some video games of all things than to just enjoy their lives.
I used to be like that too but when you realize how little time you got on this planet you tend to drop the bs
I dont understand anything anymore do these people even play games or just talk about them on twitter
This is a general problem in nerd culture all around. People really don’t enjoy the hobbies anymore. They just care about the socialization aspects of it all starting s*** on Twitter. It’s sad
dudes like this are the ones who prefer graphics over gameplay cause thats the only way you can point something like that out and be mad about it
this has always been a thing in games from the same company or using the same engine.

Reusing that animation is also so inconsequential, if it aint broke dont fix it. But this is what happens when you try to market these games as the best of the best AAA experiences: some crazy people really expect to find a technically flawless and perfect game. This is why so many are complaining about cross gen too, despite horizon, god of war and gran turismo looking pretty damn great
Twitch never made sense to me. Why would you spend hours watching someone play a video game when you could just spend hours actually playing the video game
I trust twitch streamers when it comes to reviews because they actually play the game. Not some journalist who cant even get past a tutorial.
people just want to be a part of the conversation so bad even tho they have nothing to say

The god complex it creates towards the streamers as well just irks me so much. Do anything to slightly disagree against a streamer and you're either swiftly banned by a mod or you're harassed by the 1000s of yesman fans.

I’m honestly the opposite
MOST (not all) just mimmick whatever the chat is spamming as their core opinion of the game.
man they rly gonna say BOTW2 is DLC for sure unless its somehow longer than the first game
whats cracked, is gaming journalists write articles and headlines because of pressure from Twitter users, this s*** is borked

theres a few game reviewers with more credibility and a more relatable opinion for YOU than both of those sources, just gotta find em
The gaming community is full of shut in, social outcast, political extremists who don't go outside and were raised on internet forums and television. They see everything through a very narrow lense, and don't understand anything that does not conform to their beliefs. Most have an absolute with me or against me mentality and are their own worst enemies. I'm not even talking about the right wing gamers, I mean the left too.
But some of them are cool. The older gamers are usually the most chill.
gaming community is super entitled + a lot of the mfs are really conservative and hate seeing s*** like bipoc/lgbt characters
they immediately accuse it of forcing an agenda and pandering. reminds me of the morons that say keep politics out of movies and anime

cause it's a lot more than simply watching someone play a game.
it's the same reason anybody watches someone do something they could just participate in, entertainment. a lot of streamers just have their own personality and way of doing things that's fun to watch.
it's not simply watching them play, cause i've done that with friends and it's f***ing boring lol
Playing games online is a far better communal experience than spamming F or Pog in a chat imo. It's just something that I'll never understand. Even my 24 year old friends talk about all these streamers and I'm just thinking to myself, how tf do you have time to watch this s*** I find RDCWorld hilarious, but I'm not going to spend hours watching them stream games I could just play myself
i wouldn't watch niggas like imdontai or rdcworld stream neither.

Never watched them on Twitch, but I kinda fw their Mario Party and Among Us videos But I don't think I'd watch just 1 or 2 of them play a game, I watch for the group dynamic more than the game

i just don't like their content, and their streams are just their videos but live imo
rdc gaming stuff was lame to me, and i see dontai's meme reacts and even in those he's uunbearable and corny to me
but the only nongaming streamer i watch is hasan and all the others are like og streamers and gamers if that makes sense
I mean it also allows you to check out games that you either never got around to playing or no longer have access to (i.e. older games that haven’t been ported, or games on consoles you don’t own).
Nobody is watching these niggas to "check out new games" for themselves. This is a dated take.

s*** i do lol. my main streamer and metacritic is how i can usually tell if a game is my type or worth copping, or for games i can't even play like pc games
I mean, the industry isn't in a good state and hasn't for years, naturally the consumers are gonna respond to that, especially if they're tuned in
That being said, niggas be taking everything too personal. the consumers that feel like their needs HAVE TO be catered to specifically, the creators that need to make sure their game sells, and everybody in between. It's a bad time for the whole ecosystem

it's usually not good when everyone thinks their needs and wants need to be met by every game and dev or most products or media
if it aint for you move on and consume that s*** you do like, but instead they b**** and be like 2/10 cause no cars
