Not a Horizon fan, but this type thing happens with every newly released popular game/sequel

But it shouldn’t. They’ve been working on the game for how many years now?

that's irrelevant tbh, you shouldn't assume logic applies lol

i agree with you, but it doesn't matter

It’s clearly trolling I’m more surprised entire game community takes the bait like there aren’t more pressing issues in the community

it will be largely the same game just higher fidelity so the tweet isn’t wrong

It’s a sequel to a successful new IP that was a massive change of pace for the developer.

Of course it was gonna be largely the same, most sequels to anything are, especially in gaming. Developers build foundations that they can iterate on and expand.

No sense throwing everything away considering how time consuming games actually are.

I love their games, but no one ever says this type of s*** about FromSoft, despite the fact that they’ve been essentially making the same game since 2009

fromsoft at least created their gameplay mechanics. guerrilla gave the same open world gameplay loop we’ve always had. insult to injury: in the same year so did nintendo with breath of the wild but they did it so much better

I’m not saying they did, but it was still a solid game with much better combat mechanics than most open world games, and an interesting setting (lore wise).

This sequel has the opportunity to remedy a lot of the issues from the first (and previews seems to be pointing towards that).

I don’t think anyone expects it to be generation defining or anything like that, but a good solid time all the same.

Because it’s a whole new generation and something that you’ll see 1000 times while playing

There should be multiple new animations

Youre right Sony fans becoming the next nintendo/ blizzard core. But this is not my issue itt I am more annoyed by the weird criticisms games get nowadays.
