I have a whole channel but I have one about fast fashion planned here soon
but also if we're being real, stores could have made this better if they addressed the use of bots
I honestly don’t think stores care too much about resale of a tangible good, they made their sale and made their money, and the quicker it sells out then the quicker their ROI.
Less stocking fees
Less employee hours paid out to selling that particular item

I'm honestly surprised at the margins resellers are willing to accept. I'm in a paid discord group and a bunch of people (mostly teens and early 20somethings) buy as much random s*** as they can, and then end up stuck with like size 5.5Y or men's 15 only to then try to sell it for retail + shipping. But less than $20/pair after shipping is pretty common, doesn't seem worth the effort.

S*** would only be worth it if you got like hundreds of them to sell
How you find these discords?
This reminds me of that lame ass account that got heat for having Kim K follow him despite his page being boring af

And to their credit some people do, via bots and whatever. But most people seem like they're doing it as a side hustle or with some money mom and pops gave them. I follow snkr_twitr on Twitter and I saw one of the main guys from the discord post in their replies, back when they were free and <50 members. I got on at $10/month but I think it's 20 for new members now. You can get the same basic info on Twitter for free, but they have add to cart links where you can add your size to cart as soon as something goes live for some shopify sites, so I was able to get black and blue undefeated dunks and strawberry milk dunks that route
$1,200
For a shoe that came out less than a month ago. Why is this becoming the new normal who the f*** is paying these prices!!?
