The world if every artist fed their fans like that

imagine having such low standards that an artist bullshitting in the booth for 24 songs singing about the same ass s*** over some nothing ass beat is gonna appease you lmao
you’ll grow up not knowing any hits because they’ll be be buried under all the other music
you’ll never know the best songs or the worst
you’ll never know what their best could be because they simple don’t care enough about the music to put time into it
would be a horrible world
The thing is that MJ would have been successful without Quincy Jones. If you listen to the Billie Jean demo he did at his house by himself it literally has the same production and vibe as what was released. Quincy played a role and hooked him up with great session musicians to play on his records (like Louis Johnson) but the talent was there and was going to be there either way.
Chris Brown? Not so much. Timbaland did produce a couple joints with him and they were just okay. CB has a sound and he likes to stick to it, MJ always evolved.

This would make sense if Chris didn’t have more hits than nearly every other living artist. I still have 25 of 32 songs on his last album in rotation a year later. Luckiest fanbase on the planet.
Sorry he doesn’t make critic/Grammy bait. I know for sure you haven’t listened and you’re pulling s*** out of your pretentious ass. The quality is still there.
