Chris Brown is undeniably an icon; incredibly talented, influential, and important to an entire generation that grew up on him
But we know his potential was squandered, due in large part to many public controversies that were his own fault
However; I would say the biggest hit to his potential was the lack of a great artist/producer dynamic, such as: MJ×Quincy Jones, JT×Timbo/Neptunes. He makes good music but there is clearly no guidance in his overall artistic identity, of which a great producer to define his sound would have helped greatly
- BRAVEThis some real s*** OP
he should jump on some tyler the creator production imagine he'd been offered + accepted earfquake and done a whole dance routine video would've been brazy

tyler tries to market off his songs but no one accepts them lmao
people sleep on his songwriting skills
let me tell you about chris brown
remember mtv
remember his sweet 16 party or whatever it was
this guy has no sense of discipline
not even remotely
he's a spoiled kid in an adult body
he has no talent.
darn son where'd you find this?
imagine crafting a whole thread about a mentally perturbed r and b artist and getting discman'd
I personally don't find CB that talented at all. Crazy to think he's only 30 and got so much music ahead of him still
