I also miss the sheer amount of crazy hype TLOU2 had before it dropped. I don’t think I’ve ever been that hyped for a form of media in my entire life and I’m eagerly waiting to get that feeling again.
Don’t have the same history with this game as a lot of ppl (first played in 2020 before pt 2 came out), so I wasn’t wowed after my first playthrough.
This time though? I f***ing loved it maybe it’s cause of my greater familiarity with the world and characters but I really enjoyed how intimate yet epic in scope the story feels. So much time and distance is covered throughout the course of the game but at it’s heart is the relationship between two people.
Part II is one of the greatest games ever and im hype to start that again tonight but I finally see why the first is so beloved. I’ve seen a lot of hype about grounded mode and how it fundamentally changes the game so I’m excited to see how that goes

I already adored tf out of TLOU but this Remake made me gain an appreciation for it EVEN MORE. The overhaul to the cinematics and facial expressions give the characters more life and convey so much more emotion. Crazy how night and day the facial animations are compared to the OG/Remaster.

I’ve played TLOU2 3 times already and every time I’ve been on the verge of tears

Just finished man
I think this playthrough has put this game in one of my all time favorites
Naughty Dog really did this game good with this remake
Yes, still not completely necessary, but it carries the visual language of Part II over and really makes both parts feel like one whole experience.
Gonna play Left Behind and replay Part II this week
no ps5 but this is going to be a must buy if i ever do get one
Same for me I canceled my preorder two years ago still don't need a reason to get it though

Which one do you like more, pt I or II
Some of them remind me of Clint Mansell
Which one do you like more, pt I or II
I’m leaning towards Part I
But it could change after I replay II
