Was thinking about this while finishing the Blackberry mini-series. Putting a computer in a phone was obviously the biggest one of our lives. All the tiny innovations on that post-iPhone OG have been rather negligible.
Obviously the rise (and fall tbh) of the search engine, social media, Amazon also happened in this time. Text messaging, email, etc. Those aren't pieces of tech so much as systems.
So what were recent ones? I feel like they're just endlessly tweaking things. For all the AI hype, it has not been significantly different than the search engine for me personally. I'm not sure how it even gets to that point.
Not life changing by the AirPods/blue tooth headphones was a game changer. Even the best Apple wired headphones had a 3-6 month limit.
The ones I have now last me all year and still in good quality
It hasn’t changed anyone’s life yet but it was really interesting to me to learn China officially teleported a cell a few years back
easily AI
it’s been around, but it’s crazy how much it got better this year.
So many people still not using it, but things like ChatGPT have totally transformed my life.

How do you use it?
Like just for writing blocks of text? Or do you use it for something more niche than that?
for physical products, AirPods
for physical products, AirPods
it’s crazy how they changed our daily consumption of media. bluetooth headphones were around wayyyyy beforehand, but they really shifted the paradigm.
