My dad & mum are both union members and fight for their rights. Both of them have never read much economic theory in their lives
i am not communist though so i am not really to speak on Marxist theory i only have read very limited amounts theory
but i am pretty sure something like black panthers required all members to read some theory to join if i am not mistaken

Within the US and EU, do you not think communists and socialists come from more privileged backgrounds? Political awareness increases with education level. Go to the poorest neighbourhoods. Bet you don't see communist and socialists like you do if you go to a uni.

yea i agree with that statement cause poorer people do have time to read lots of theory and get educated they doing to most to get by

thats why we seen massive surge of populist right wing leaders cause its easier to get working class person angry about immigrants or culture war s*** then explaining economic polices

This is very true. Have nothing else to add. Fully agree with you here and it is a big issue. The under and working classes are being taught to fight each other instead of the elites.

Calling yourself a communist gets you associated with these clowns who shill China and play the communist on social media. Optics. So important to gaining followers, and the optics on communism are not good right now.
