Like "Your mission as a communist is supposed to be .......! Not .......!"
It's just kinda weird how heavily you want to criticize it and at the same time define the goals of it as if you want the goals of the people you criticize to happen

I mean, even Marx talked about this on some level. The people at the bottom of society were excluded from the discussion and deemed worthless.
Communism and any other ideologies do absolutely attract the privileged saviours who encourage the less privileged to fight for the cause. The less privileged lack the education of the more privileged to understand.
This is actually much of what I am talking about. The top is usually a well educated elite speaking to the less privileged to fight for his cause. The less privileged look to the elite for answers because they were denied the same privileges and education.
When it goes wrong, the privileged can just go on and live their life whilst the people who fought for the rot

@OP are u just frustrated because the people you're talking about delegitimize the value of the ideas you believe in? cause i agree on a certain level. At the same time sometimes people with hardheaded dedication are necessary, even if they're not connecting the dots for everyone in the best way, theres all types of ways that can help a cause.

racism obviously isn't dead, but you'd be hard pressed to find a way that our current society holds people down due to their race in by legal means, never mind blaming in on capitalism in 2021.
Presently, I do think that black people have to take some blame for the position that they are in currently. Black people as a whole were on an upward trajectory as far as socioeconomic status even under Jim Crow, before many values that got them there went out the window (i.e., nuclear family structure being a big one)It is important to acknowledge how racism has gotten black people as a whole to their current position, but also important to acknowledge what has come from oppression and what has come from culture/choices. I mentioned this in a reply to synopsis, but Asian-Americans are a prime example of how culture/choices can lift a group out of oppression and into success in only a few generations.

White people can be great people. But you can never trust a white person to not sell out. There are many who will not, but you cannot tell who will sell out and who won't.
Because of this you have to be wary of all.

Yo what did your grandfather do in Cuba
he was a kid when he came here but he had 5 or 6 much older siblings, I was only ever able to meet one of them. Not sure what they did in all honesty. All I really know is that he worked as a farmhand in south florida when my dad was younger.
and on a side note I do wanna say I appreciate the conversation -- I read through your posts in this thread and you talk about a lot that I would never have thought of or even have been exposed to otherwise.
