Had a couple next to me, lady couldn’t stop react in shock to the horror scenes (bitch did you not see the trailer ya thought this was a romcom?) it almost took me out of the intensity of it.

But it was fine, wasn’t as bad as my Joker experience where this couple live reviewed through the whole movie, example that stood out was during the scene where Joker walks to the theater and then you see him inside disguised as an usher or what not and they were like “just like that??” like what motherfucker you wanted a whole set piece about how the Joker got some usher outfit

I’m sure teenie boppers and drunks exist in every town The crowd for this movie was completely fine though.

I loved both movies but The Lighthouse completely eclipsed any room for thought I had with Parasite. Saw The Lighthouse last Thursday and I still can’t stop thinking about it.

I think the worst I had was during Justice League some nerdy couple was figuring out loud all the Easter eggs like oh look a green lantern! Going back and forth about which one it could be, and like by the time Superman comes back the girl was going over the top and I had to go pick another seat on the other side, I can’t put into words how obnoxious they were it was like having one of these clickbaits YouTube videos happening next to you.

However I was one step away to tell to that couple during the Joker to shut the f*** up lmao.

But man is it worth to experience Lighthouse in a theater, from when the mermaid first pops up it’s like.. the room switched to me, the mood it projects, I don’t know if it would be the same sensation impact at home.

Kanye’s JIK movie experience was flawless tho no one even chatted during the Bible verses transitions.

Parasite the next movie I’m gonna check on my day off, I’m excited
