And with ms.marvel…you didn’t need to watch the show either…they touch on her origin, bangles etc throughout the movie

Agreed. They literally mention / recap everything you need to know about all 3 leads. You legit don’t have to rewatch anything for The Marvels IMO

Good to know the shows aren’t a requirement to get into The Marvels seeing as I haven’t seen them (except SI) yet
However imma use the next couple of weeks to watch the D+ series before seeing TM cus I believe they could make me care more about the characters.

That crowd is there and definitely the loudest. But feel like there's also a crowd that wants course correction. If mid or garbage products keeps returning a profit there's little incentive to improve quality.

what talking points have they used

Things like “it’s for the fans”, “Paid shills” with bad reviews, “It’s fun”

I’m not saying you are wrong if you liked the movie but when someone said they liked BVS they were seen like crazy people

having watched wandavision (that had the scene where monica came back from the snap and found out her mom died years ago) and ms marvel definitely made me feel more comfortable taking in this movie so I can see why the marvels didn't stick as characters other than Ms Marvel who's just a good, solid character

Thor4 is still by far the worst MCU movie and i still like it..

enjoy this now guys because in 10 years when we aren't getting MCU films y'all will be the first to be nostalgic about it all

also: with the post credit scenes I feel like we finally have started building towards something tangible
