You’re comparing software engineers who willingly work there for upwards of 500k a year to slaves?
The western world is full of people who come up with stuff to be oppressed and upset about lol

Not the money that's not the point, it's the morality/ethics of the situation. That's the obvious point.

Surely these “protesters” are paid actors and this is Netflix’s new form of promo 🤔
No way anyone gives enough of a s*** to protest or counter-protest

But you’re missing the point that these people can easily work elsewhere, comfortably, for a company that shares their views. It’s pretty f***ed up to compare slaves to this situation
@poppin_beans that was a dumb post but u almost made my screen freeze with that bullshit

stop browsing ktt2 on your 2-slice toaster
Once again—these are not low skill jobs. These people paid for college, built their resumes, and got a blue chip job in entertainment at Netflix. If they’re that offended by the company’s direction, wouldn’t it be more honorable to leave in order to make that point?

I do have to say it’s very important to make your voice heard if you care about something. If enough people share your voices the company will likely change its ways. But if not, either leave and support companies that share your views, or stay and accept their decision
this is all around what happens when society becomes so derivative and detached from its material needs that the only thing that can be done is find increasingly abstract ways of detaching itself to prevent reality from catching up
i literally could not care less about anything from anyone involved in this
I wish I got a mobile notification every time you posted.
They have the right to protest and I support that right at any workplace. It’s the complete lack of self-awareness that gets me. These people work for Netflix! Look what Netflix produces!!
A job is a job (it’s mostly an apolitical decision for a lot of people who just want a salary), a company is made up of employees and basically their aggregate identity.
If there a culture war going on that @krishna_bound is talking about then you’re looking at it right now with Netflix and the identity the company will take going forward.
Idc about the quality of stuff Netflix produces that’s irrelevant to the topic
I agree with everything Eureka says in their interview
Matt Walsh is a grade A chud

Wdym look at what Netflix produces? As far as Hollywood and the entertainment industry Netflix more or less the standard when it comes to transparency in regards to employees and executives salaries, and in general when it comes to progressive or more specifically lgbtq+ content
