I'd prob go with P3R. Definitely has the more laid back experience with it being a Persona game and all.

I am also not a fan of Metaphor so take my opinion with a grain of salt lol.

Yeah, P3R will get the job done. Not that Metaphor wouldn't since it uses a lot of Persona as a foundation, but P3R (and Persona games in general) just has that cozy feel when you're going through the daily routine. Music is wayyy more chill (and SOOOO much better than Metaphor's)) in P3R as well so I'm sure that'll help lol.

yea i played the original years ago and have play 4, and 5 was just wondering if 3r was serviceable since i was looking to replay anyway

I, for one, definitely couldn't play them all lol just beat Trails 1st Chapter recently and "lucked out" not getting Ys X since it's getting the complete edition treatment
