In rural areas, landlords rent out like a single apartment.

Stopping landlords isnt going to solve homelessness lmao. Vertical public housing will.

Niggas really think every landlord is a NYC slumlord

    both are the problem.
property should belong to the people, those who actually contribute and create the wealth within society but receive the least (working class)

This reminds me of early in the summer when every business owner forced their employees to go back to work because suddenly they realized 'our replaceable asses' are actually vital to their function.

    Exactly

Wild how people missed that opportunity to stick it to them and demand better pay and hours.

Instead their simpleton asses were begging to go back to work like they don't have any outside hobbies or aspirations.
America really needs a reset and we need that boomer mentality gone.

Not just that though, banks would routinely approve low income whites for loans, while denying middle class black and brown people. The same people from that time own the banks today

    safe

I think that it wouldn't if you still had a private market for other goods

like if I know I have a house and food maybe im not gonna feel the need to work a minimum wage job at target but I'm still gonna want to work and earn money and get a nicer house and buy an iPhone or whatever

im just more likely to work a job that lines up more with my interests and skills even if its a lower paying job or harder to obtain

Wouldnt that be nice, being able to support yourself by working a half decent job u dont mind

Im lucky to have gotten into the place im at now, pay is great. But its not like i enjoy it lol

    Yep

Like I said earlier, NIMBYs cause more problems than any landlord ever will

    Which is worse:

a.) Some rich guy constructing housing in exchange for money

    OR

b.) Some 20-something year old who has housing, healthcare, Internet access, and food, fighting against the construction because they believe the rich guy has too much money
