    Synopsis

If right now all the landlords disappeared, do the houses go with them

the maintenance and care for them does lol

unless you own the house, you aren’t responsible for repairs and making sure the house is structurally sound

if the landlords disappear, aside from home owners, who is going to take care of all the empty residences.

do you know how to fix plumping / electricity / change hot water tanks? i know i don’t, and many others don’t either

sure you could call a plumber or a electrician, but then you would have to pay for expensive repairs, whereas the landlord fronts the cost of those repairs when something goes wrong

that doesnt entitle them to profit off of it

and no one should be able to own and charge rent off of housing they dont even use while thousands live on the street

They’re entitled to do what ever tf they want to do with their property

    I'm not triggered man.

How does that plan look? How do we we get all the landlords out of houses they are not homesteading?

How does that equate into you getting a property to live in? If they are not renting does that mean you are owning? Or does no one own property?

I can think of a few ways to get them out.

And idk maybe you couple the abolition of private property with the targeted construction of socialized housing for the homeless?

they may not care, but there are rights to protect renters if the landlord does not take care of issues in a timely manner. i.e. withholding of rent until a given repair is done
