Have you reached the scene where Tony is being an a****** to Janice at the dinner table?
"Sacre Bleu! Where's me mamaw?"

Tony was a next level d***head in those final seasons. Remember when he beat up his bodyguard in front of everybody

Was expecting him to do that with Bobby baccala just in case he told anyone about how it went down at the cabin
Iconic.
I’m early szn 3 or a rewatch so let me give some thoughts on the Livia CGI scene.
1. I don’t find the scene particularly necessary. I think it would have been okay to have her die off screen without re-appearing in season 3. However, I read David chases comments on it and he thought it was necessary for that scene to have her end on a sour note and not have it be like things were okay between her and Tony. he felt is was necessary for the rest of Tony’s story arc. Given how deep this show gets with psychology and the impact of her on her children, I respect chase’s decision entirely. I mean the man’s a genius writer and obviously he had dark intentions for Tony’s story and she was the main causation. So if he says the scene was needed, maybe it was.
2. I would like them to go back and fix the CGI. Not change any of the dialogue (even though it’s clunky) but just fix up the look of her face/head. Make it nicer for future generations. I’d have no issue with that and it would probably be easy enough with current tech.

I think it would have been the flipside of season 1. In the sense that now Tony would be the one considering having her whacked. He would be wrestling with himself about what to do about her.
U wouldn’t think he would do it but if they made her the essential part of the RICO case and him facing 30 years and she’s a miserable old f***. I mean he almost smothered her in szn 1 too

Right, and then something anticlimactic like a heart attack would occur right before he made his decision to subvert our expectations
This reminds me of Al’s mom in home improvement lmao
