You snapped on this!!!
I agree! I loved the LOOK of sopranos but yeah, the kinda cold and blue/muted(?) tone of this LOOKS like a mobster generic streaming mobster movie
I’m not gonna doubt David Chase when it comes to sopranos tho. If he came up with a story that made him Wanna come back and tell, I will listen
definitely agree on this though. hope they fix the color grading
i kinda agree but i’m still excited to see this. i don’t think any 2 hour movie could live up to the standards of a show with 86 episodes that are each about an hour. there’s not really any other stories they need to tell anyways so i don’t think anyone’s expectations should be too high. i’m just hoping to get a nice love letter to the show and an entertaining couple hours.
Most definitely, I just hope it doesn’t become a situation where the franchise was better off without the movie. Obviously nobody is expecting it to be at the same level as the show, that’s impossible, but from a film making stand point they can still tell a compelling story that doesn’t come across generic, which I’m hoping they did.
I'm sure they're def making it look more "action packed" than it actually is.
Looks sick tho
only gripe is the color grading all these movies seem to have lately. I think it's a streaming thing
Niggas filtered by the trailer
Of course theyre not gonna put all the intellectual s*** in the trailer or else no one would watch it

mfs wanted a trailer full of dream sequences ending in a blackout
Who is the black guy tho? Has that been revealed? Based off the trailer, it seems like he is gonna have a somewhat prominent role in the film.
Denzel Washington
Looks good, didn’t expect it to be as Tony-centric as it appears, but I’m excited nonetheless.
Some people are never happy
Don't be that person. We're allowed to weigh in on how we feel about something presented to us. Just cus niggas aren't gassing everything 24/7 doesn't mean "ppl are never happy"

IMO The trailers generic af bro, not sure why y'all making excuses for it? The trailer is suppose to serve as a medium to get people hyped for the film, if it didn't do that for me I'm not gonna sit and make excuses for it
I finally got to sit down and properly watch this. Hearing Tony at the beginning was so awesome. I’m so f***ing excited for this
Nothing used to beat Sunday nights.
word...I remember not having HBO for an amount of time when this was airing live for the first time...used to track down Entertainment Weeklys and read about "who got wacked this week on Sopranos" was definitely a phenomenon and it's crazy to me that some ppl still haven't watched it all the way through

true. i’ve seen a lot of great movies with lackluster trailers that make it seem completely different though. hoping they just wanted to play up the mob movie stuff in the trailer for more viewers since they can’t exactly use recognizable faces

I got into it in 04 when I was in HS. Just in time for Season 4.
I never saw anything like it before and it set the tone for the golden age of TV.
Used to DVR the episodes. They didn’t have a streaming platform, so I had to catch them when HBO would run marathons to catch up.

to this day that ending still has people conflicted and debating...personally I've grown to appreciate how brilliant that final scene is done but not gonna lie when I was watching as a younger 13-14 year old I was like "wtf happened?!?!?!"
