not sure whether to see this in the theatres or just wait for the 4k rip
not got a real IMAX near me so don't see the point of that
See it on the biggest screen possible
Meh. I probably will wait on this for now. Wasnt really hyped about the trailers and I'm not really a fan of James gunn. I was mainly interested because I'm an Idris Elba fan.
Hardcore Snyder fans having a meltdown on Twitter yikes
Lmao what they saying
worst movie related fanbase of all time even he hates them
Starwars neck and neck
idk what to expect with this but excited to get high and check it out Friday thanks to HBO Max

honestly felt the exact same way going in. everything i’d seen came off corny and made the humour seem forced, and i still don’t get the hype for gotg. expected something like deadpool when it’s far more troma. the trailers show very little of the movie and that’s done for reasons that i can’t say without spoiling things. n the movie reallyyy plays to idris elba’s strengths i was expecting his character to be super generic but he has a surprising amount of emotional depth. he’s the heart of the movie for sure. his chemistry with john cena’s character is amazing to watch too.

His dynamic with his daughter / rat catcher 2 was such a surprise and added a lot
What I posted earlier
The Snyders literally have their names at the front of this movie
And it does continue elements and acknowledges the last movie
I’m excited for this even though I hated the first one.
Need a KTT countdown for this

The last movie?
Birds of Prey, Suicide Squad, or Snydercut?

TRUE my bad, i meant the last suicide squad movie
harley and rick flag are friends and acknowledge that they know each other and have worked together.
obviously cap boomerang is in it from the trailers, and i think i remember rick flag makes a joke like 'why do i always end up on teams like this'
so its definitely carrying on from the last movie, and therefor from the snyderverse. it doesnt outwardly retcon any of that stuff
This was GREAT, might f*** around & rewatch next week
im desperate for a second watch too. as soon as the harley quinn action scene ended i was like ' i neeeeed to rewind that and watch it all again
'
and the whole sequence where peace maker and idris elba walk into that camp and kill everyone
when john cena walks past the guy in the sleeping hammock and quickly slashes him to death i gasped out loud

That Harley Quinn scene was sensational
and that chemistry between Cena & Elba, I’m here for, what a great movie smh
Gonna watch this first at an AMC theater and then again on HBO. Can’t wait for this and the Peacemaker spin-off series.
Watching this IMAX Thursday night and HBO Max with my boy on Friday
Happy for you @Oldhead
