Cap hits comparison
Juju Smith-Schuster
2023: $4.67 million
2024: $10.63 million
2025: $10.13 million
Jakobi Meyers
2023: $7.29 million
2024: $12.83 million
2025: $12.83 million
regardless of the Jakobi comparison/debate, I like the JuJu signing a lot. Look at those cap hits - that's reasonable money. and he's still only 26. good signing.
as for the james robinson signing, I assume it'll be very low on guarantees, to the point where he isn't a roster lock for 2023. we'll see how the contract looks before we know whether his spot is a sure thing or not
Love Gesicki, 9 million feels like an overpay for him though?
"up to 9 million"
Oh btw I know I’m late on this, but I’m very confused why Mills was cut (unless they think he’s gonna be injured all the time again like he was this year).
When he was healthy he was a phenomenal number 2 and he wasn’t super expensive imo
belichick's coaches breakfast press conference right now is funny af, he's in his grumpy non-answer mood and giving these guys nothing.
i’ll take “shit nobody is tryna hear” for 500
its over
I need us to get lamar
They gotta get some more WR talent cause the first sore hamstring Lamar gets he’s out 4-8 weeks

He’s on his money talks b****es walk s***
I need us to get lamar
In my dreams
Not gonna happen
They gotta get some more WR talent cause the first sore hamstring Lamar gets he’s out 4-8 weeks
Also this tho to be fair
i’ll take “shit nobody is tryna hear” for 500
I don't mind it. there is a sentiment out there that bill should change his style of speaking because his team is .500 over the last 3 seasons. i don't subscribe to this sentiment.

wym bill has always been “what you accomplished in the past doesn’t mean s*** today”
if anything he’s showing his insecurity about the post tom era, flipping his whole ethos
also it’s just plain stupid, nothing about the tom brady era can be applied to this era

agree to disagree. i cannot bring myself to care about meaningless comments in a presser where he isn't even answering any questions. i watched most of it live and it was very funny but it was not a source of information about the team or anything like that. it was for entertainment purposes only and has zero to do with what type of team we'll see on the field in september.
the media who make their bread and butter off his responses have to write something about what he says to earn their living. fans don't. we can just watch it and laugh and move on.

of course it doesn’t mean anything with regard to how this season is going to go. we’re going to be ass regardless of what he says at a presser. just annoying to hear him reference the dynasty as to why we should be optimistic. reeks of lack of self awareness.
Get his stupid ass
