There’s been song sir even albums where upon first listen, I just didn’t like. Extremely disappointed.

But day, weeks, months or even YEARS in some cases.... you go back to it and it just connect with you and you’re like “WOOOOOW, how didn’t I like this”

The more complex a song/album is the longer it takes for you to understand it

Every song/album that clicks on first listen usually dont have a long shelf life whereas all the classics were mostly overlooked at first

Depends on how you go about it.
Forcing yourself to re listen to something until you like it is dumb. But revisiting something after an initial bad impression or casually hearing it a lot and over time becoming fond of it are completely fine. I think about Blankface a lot when it comes to this topic. I HATED that album my first listen. Didn’t listen to it again for months and came back and it just clicked. My favorite Q project now

Exactly bro, get a little drank in some cups, get a towel, lay on the beach, bring a backpack, play some Krule, (baby blue never fails), then after a while you finish your drinks, pack everything up in your bag, tell her you want to walk by the shore, grab her hand, start walking down the shore, at this point you can be playful and bring her in close to you at one point, but dont kiss her or anything, and then start leading her back towards the car

I hated Pretty Odd by Panic for legit 10 years and now it’s one of my favorite albums of all time
