Idk how one can say casuals don't f*** with Tyler when his streaming numbers for Chromakopia was near the level of Kendrick. This is even with the album coming out on a Tuesday, and Kendrick having all the post-beef hype (not saying GNX isn't huge as an album, it is and well deserved). He's still doing big numbers for songs from Chromakopia and other albums across his discography.

IMO he's right up there with Travis/Cole in popularity right now. Plenty of people f*** with his music from casuals to hardcore music/rap fans and the proof is there, regardless of any one person's singular opinion on the music.

As for music quality, that s***'s subjective. I (and the majority of Tyler fans) enjoy the versatility of his music with the solid cohesion in the production and lyrical subject matter. His production is always very detail-oriented and world class imo.

As a rapper, I think he does what he does well and he isn't trying to outclass J Cole or Kendrick lyrically. He has one of the best rap voices out there.

Also his live shows are basically a phenomenal, he actually performs his songs without a vocal backing track (unlike some popular rap artists), and he's generally hilarious on stage.

He’s cool. I respect his artistry and effort even if all the music doesn’t connect for me personally. That’s about as far as I’d go. Last two albums been my favorite two coincidentally
