I liked the idol, like a decent amount. It was a bit boring at times but a very interesting premise and execution

abel is a pretty bad actor. we need to stop this delusion. the moment he starts to speak he's awful. that's why his acting in all the music videos and short films looked very good.

the funniest thing is, his MVs and short films serve the role of the visual companion to his music much better than movies. i don't understand why he's so insistent on film when he excels at the standard visual music mediums

If we’re being honest, the horrendous writing script that his character endured (which is his fault as well) wouldn’t have been saved by f***ing Denzel Washington, Leo, or any A-lister you’d like to insert. Same for HUT the movie. So personally I’d like to see him in a smaller roles similar to Uncut Gems before I completely write off his acting ability.
