how Omar goes out is perfect imo, everyone was expecting it to happen in some huge epic way but nah, seemed very realistic
it aint even that i wanted some crazy shootout or anything i would've rather he'd get killed by marlo, one of his men, or anyone that was actively looking for him over some literally who kid that barely got screentime lol

you quoted bro but completely missed his point lol
death is random. Omar is such a important, legendary character that you would have expected his death to be epic and related to the storyline in some way, but it wasn’t. he got randomly taken out by a kid, which often happens.
despite being a legend, Omar wasn’t guaranteed to go out in a blaze of glory. and despite the “lame” way he went out, his legacy and reputation still continued to live on afterwards. in comparison to Marlo, who won but lost at the same time

it makes more sense for kenard to do it cos his golden rule was to never put his shotgun on any civilians and the one time he doesn’t side eye a pedestrian with the paranoia he has or marlo has normally led to the death. also kenard is a kid and kids they tell the truth and are more honest than an adult. all the dealers still were scared so much of him but kenard could see him for what he was an injured man with no one on his side anymore
you have to pick one scene to show someone to get them interested in the show. what do you choose?

Man that’s tough to think about tho. This scene is cool asf tho & I feel like it could immediately pull someone into Avon’s charm

Best show ever made followed by Sopranos and it ain't even close, nobody makes TV like HBO.

Omar woulda never got killed by the opps, was way too on point for that
Kids have always been Omar’s soft spot, and this was plot was built up so well. In season 3 Kenard was playing pretending to be Omar idolizing him. Then he saw Omar when he confronted Michael and was let down by how weak he looked. His idol let him down so he took him out. Omar peeped Kenard and let him slide and ended up getting killed because of it, he woulda NEVER let any adult get up on him like that. Perfect death for Omar, the only person capable of taking him out like that was a child

twas the saddest death for me 😢
Rewatching S2 & there’s NO WAY this can be the worst season, this was incredible

Man I loved Season 2, I was surprised by how good it got towards the end. It felt more relevant today than ever
I’m midway through Season 3 and Bunny Colvin’s scheme is honestly ridiculous. I’m also noticing that this show is becoming a little funny
“Is you taking notes on a criminal f***ing conspiracy?!”

you can't convince me that there wasn't a comedy element to things just watch this:

!https://youtu.be/WDIi0dzmvpEI mean seasons 1 and 2 played it pretty straight with the exception of Herc’s banter, but this season is the first where there have been like clear “haha” moments

Prop Joe just cracks me up the way he delivers his lines and mannerisms.

On God
They were so on point with almost all of the casting in this show
Man the actor that plays Marlo is GOOD.
He’s a more intimidating and commanding figure than Omar even. I get shook watching him on TV
