I don't think that it is necessarily "anti-work" however "anti-working for s*** pay" doesn't roll off the tongue well.
good, ill get the bag that they missing out on
They weren't getting the bag. That's why they're anti-work. Pay attention man lmao
This is just a news cycle to blame production issues on labor. Capital took a dip during a COVID laundered recession and demand shuddered breaking up supply chains. Work isn't a choice. You are coerced. Any hiccups in that relationship are temporary.
Capital continues destroying job prospects and then blame hiring issues on the labor pool. Look at truckdriving as an occupation post peak unionization. They want to hire a bunch of teenagers because it's a meth addled time clock problem nobody wants to be stuck in.
Any leverage labor has is a good thing for any working man. The lowballing and coercion of the lowest man drags everyone down. Look at NAFTA and deindustrialization. They said Americans didn't want to work then too. Now the service industry and fake MLM s*** accounts for such a large % of the economy that it's no wonder people feel disenchanted.
More power to em but how do they get money for survival unless they come from bread
Tbf nowadays there’s like a million ways to make money without slaving at a minimum wage job.
Just went on r/antiwork and sorted top posts all time and it's all workers telling their s***ty bosses to go f*** themselves and quitting their jobs lmao s***s hard af
every single one is fake
Lmaooo ppl really cosigning this
Please elaborate why you’re against workers getting treated fairly?

I think there’s misunderstanding about anti-work. Most people are not against working, people just want to be compensated fairly and have benefits.
It all comes down to work/life balance. People back in the day could afford support a family and buy a house just from working regular job, and nowadays there are people working 2 jobs just trying to get by. Wages have been stagnant but cost of living constantly rising.

Exactly, s*** isn't fair on any level. I'm a first responder working 24 hour shifts in an incredibly high volume +impoverished area and I don't even make enough money to rent a f***ing apartment there. No clue how people think it's okay.
every single one is fake
lmao I'm sure some are but others aren't.
My close friend is one of em (granted he's not a top all time post)
The mod of r/antiwork got on Fox News and single-handedly destroyed the movement by looking like the most stereotypical Reddit mod ever
