But as far a complete package (image, brand, consistency) I don’t place him with the rappers I listed.
Phenomenal rapper, but that’s it.
Edit: The more I think about it, he did influence this current generation of rappers, but there’s still something that holds him back in my eyes. It’s weird.

ryuHThe best rapper of the current gen is Lil Baby imo but as talented as he is I just don’t see him becoming even half as big as Drake. He’s like a modern day T.I. to me which is big for the city but not Drake big.
Cole and Kendrick will never catch up at this point
Trav is huge but he is very niche and his skill set is limited (even tho he is talented asf at what he does)
I can see Tyler continue to get bigger but again he is niche as well so he won’t get THAT big. He’s carrying the torch for that avant-garde rap lane (Pharrell, 3 stacks)
Other than that no one is even remotely close. These new rappers be dope in they own right but they lack that legendary impact.
