Bro I honestly couldn’t tell you they have too many but it’s an acquired taste. They the type of artist where you gotta just dive in head 1st and explore.

I think Eternal Atake is a good place to start with Uzi because he is spitting bars for most of the 1st half.

I think WLR Carti best work to date but you may want to start with Die Lit since it’s easier to get into.

They both on some other s*** man. I don’t even put them in the same category as “rappers”. It’s like trying to compare Metallica with the Beatles. Totally different rules in each genre but they both fall under the umbrella of rock.

He’s been streamed more recently than Lil Uzi, Lil Baby, Lil Durk, Nba Youngbiy, Gunna, Roddy Rich, Young Thug, Migos etc like almost anyone you can name
And no, it’s not just bc he died. People just listen to music that they actually want to listen to regardless of if someone died or not (especially 2-3 years after their death)

These threads always have a sad undertone to them, I think because there’s a feeling in the back of the minds of a lot of users here that rap as a genre is on a downward slope and it feels hard to imagine superstars anymore

tbh I don't have spreadsheets with every record sold and charting positions for either artist but I def think Eminem is objectively bigger - he outsold MJ, Madonna, Britney etc in the 2000s - that's enough for me

Yes, he has sold more pure albums than Drake but Drake has moved almost as many album units as he has. I think the gap between them now is something between 6-7 million. Drake has moved way more single units, pulled way more streams and has way more hits.

If we're talking "records sold" which is album units + single units sold, Drake has him beat and it's not particularly close.

Drake will end his career not only as the bestselling rapper across every category, but one of the bestselling musicians of all time and he's only 12 years in.

Eminem is an anomaly for how he has managed to remain successful in music 25 years into his mainstream career. There's no other rapper that's 20+ or even 15+ years into their career who is as successful as he still is.
