we have not been here before man that's od normalcy bias. ai being leveraged to control what ppl see in damn near every single app and website and it's using mountains of personal data to shape them how the owners of the sites and apps want. want certain ppl pacified? you got it. want others absolutely enraged about a certain thing or certain people? job done. this is so beyond just the next step of creating art. the mfs in charge of this s*** would open Pandora's box if they thought there was a single dollar in it.
