The term Classic is irrelevant in this conversation (it’s pretty much obsolete anyway) but yeah:
Kanye (obviously)
JAY-Z
Kendrick Lamar
Drake
We coulda said Eminem in this convo… before the disaster of 2017
Encore was always a bad album

Revival hate is corny
Revival hate is corny
Revival is one of the worst albums i've ever had the displeasure of sitting through
Revival hate is corny
It has gems and an amazing concept as an album, but it also has most of his worst songs ever on it imho.
Why do you like it, if you don’t mind me asking? I’m interested as to what about it speaks to you
When you think it’s gonna be another generic Kendrick Vs Drake thread with some Ye thrown in and it turns into a Eminem thread instead
it is annoying when people try to force a “weak” album instead of just being honest and going full d***rider but kanye does have weak albums
ye, ksg, jik
Revival hate is corny
It’s literally unlistenable pop music garbage one of the worst albums ever made by any artist in any genre
Encore was always a bad album
I think it failed at what it was trying to do, but succeeded at something else just as compelling in the process, so it’s a good album to me.
Like, as just another regular Eminem album, it’s kinda booty cheeks, but as an interesting and singular look into Marshall’s psyche at the time, and encapsulation of the bizarre, toxic environment he was in, it’s amazing

Yeah I’d rather listen to it over Revival but I wouldn’t go as far as calling it good, or even “amazing” based off a certain criteria.
It’s a pretty big f***ing fall off quality wise after his first 3 which probably have 4-5 weak songs combined.
@op tell us what makes an album bad
A significant percentage of the songs are poorly executed, have bad verses or production, or are unlistenable
For example having 2-3 misses on a 16 track album is not a bad album
Having 7-8 misses on a 16 track album is a bad album
I think it failed at what it was trying to do, but succeeded at something else just as compelling in the process, so it’s a good album to me.

the thing with encore is that there were more good songs than bad
but the bad songs were so bad that they stuck out like a sore thumb
Love them both but Em has bad albums
Wayne is prob my fav rapper in terms of style/skill but he has bad albums
Kendrick only has bad albums to mentally ill Drake stans who are mad that Kendrick surpassed Drake with only 4 albums while Drake has to continue pandering to IG thots for the rest of his life
Funny that the ktt AI didn't acknowledge drake
it can only handle three niggas
pause
I think this is a good topic and discussion to be had here but you sneaking Kanye in isn't going to do you any favors
