Anyone can personally “not like” anything upon hearing it depending on their personal biases and how they feel that day, how attentive they feel like being at the moment, what they are listening on etc. Making a snap judgement based on feelings as fleeting as that isn’t really my thing. I can separate music that doesn’t grab me from music that’s actually poorly made. Big difference.

I prefer to be objective and ask my self questions like is this well produced? Is this a good performance? Was this executed well? Usually when I actually stop and think instead of just blindly throwing my biases around I find that professional artist are doing good work more often than not and I just need to have more patience as a listener.

in my honest opinion the only one that doesn’t have a bad album in the OP is Kendrick. Morale may be boring to some of y’all (a specific group on here) but it’s by no means a bad record. I cannot say the same for JIK, , Donda 2, Scorpion, CLB, MCHG, Best of Both Worlds, Blueprint 2, etc.

Nah Donda 2 don’t count if it did it would disqualify Ye but it was never officially released on all platforms so it’s a demo imo
