you have enough imagination to imagine yourself in a space and time you've never experienced yet you won't take the extra steps to make your vision a reality
whenever someone points out a song on the radio like the dj is in the know i always think its not them being in the know, its their spotify algorithm doing what its programmed to do. the art of pulling out a cool album cut from out your bag is long gone
I have been utilizing the ai playlist tools on Spotify for upwards of 5 years now. My wook bass only playlist is only as big as it is from me making like 4 ai playlists out of it and compiling it together
Also isnt Pandora(/likes) just ai as well
Corporations don't actually value the art they sell to you and they will cut every cost possible by replacing it all with AI
not a big deal
op how do you think playlist they suggest to you works?
i dont use playlists so i dont know!

everything is being manufactured now
what’s the commie term for this, commodification?
not a big deal
this has deeper philosophical implications than you could imagine. 😎
this is not much different than these algorithm playlist on your front page
it’s fundamentally different because those hyper-specific Spotify playlists that are curated for certain moods and snapshots of scenes in life are drawn from a personalized set of taste(s) from someone, then it’s compiled into a playlist to reflect the themes of it bro lol
I think this is basically how it always worked, just with you describing what you want instead of the algo guessing
So different but just more fine tuning done by your own description
Not a huge fan of AI taking over everything but what can we do at this point
