These have been my latest thoughts, honestly it’s not a dream I’m just looking for something that’ll make me miss being at home comfortable with my stuff and going to live in the caves is not an option
Okay Ktt brethens, if any of you have marines/army experiences I’d like to know about them, thank you very much.
Just move somewhere else and get a job there if you want to miss home, joining the military is a very extreme option if that's what you're after
Don’t

So its not even a money thing? Why dont you move to a new town? Go camping? Why take the most reprehensible/extreme option
Join the navy instead bro. You get to travel the world. My dad went everywhere
You have to be comfortable living on a ship in the middle of the ocean for weeks at a time tho

There’s always something to do tho. Part of the experience. Like dorming with your bros except on a ship

My dad was in the navy too, he was mainly in the Persian Gulf but got to spend a lot of time in Japan and the Philippines, this was during Jimmy Carter's presidency
That part would be cool for sure but I don't think I could take the feeling of being stuck on a boat in tight quarters
what a terrible reason to join the military
not like there's many good reasons to begin with but like bro...

Yea it’s up to the person. But I had a friend in the navy and he would post stories of his time and tbh it looked fun af
join the marines
Don't do it bro, even outside of the ethical question of joiing into the systemic imperliastic leanings most armys have, the terrorizing of the 3rd world with crimes against humanity (especially if you from the core) you'd also be in one of the most brutal dehuminizing crippling environments possible for a young man, it's not worth it for sure, I mean if there is no choice and this is a financial situation I can understand, but if you can do anything else I wouldn't recommend.
join the chair force, get into cyber/intel, get a clearance, and then when you're out join a defense contractor and make 150k+.
