Im in the army right now, if that’s your reason find something else. Just get a job that lets make you travel alot like trucking (good money too)

Joining the military is a massive lifestyle change. If you're in the US, iirc you have to serve per your service obligation. You can't just up and quit when you feel like it. If you realize 6 months in that you're miserable and incredibly demoralized... tough s***

If your entire reasoning is just being bored and wanting to travel, just join like the Peace Corps or smth lol.

If you can go in as an officer then great, but boy if you enlist in the army then good luck, you’re going to need it.

If you are set on enlisting and nothing will change your mind, please go to the Air Force or something.
