magic is alright but the others are complete dogshit i feel like people are gaslighting me acting like these albums are good. the roc nation brunch beats reek i’d take the hov jay elec collab album before any of these pisspoor albums. honestly the albums are nasir level
they are (mostly) all ok but yea i agree otherwise

i get people thinking they’re cool but people saying this is like the best albums in the last couple of years is crazy gaslighting
Halfway thru KD3 and nah this one was just on another level compared to the others. Idk how to explain it
It's dope lol.

They’re all dope although I think the magic series is weaker and right now I don’t see how some people have magic 2 & 3 at the top of their lists but maybe I missed something
Classic Nas albums:
10 classic albums in 30 years, I can divide. 1 classic album every 3 years is damn impressive
Reported
reporting me won’t make those albums good. they’re still all weedplates except one of em

Real. A lot of people just don't want to share their opinion because it's Nas. But at the end kf the day people aren't even playing them and they have been selling less and less each time.

for me it’s the fact these albums don’t even get talked about after the first week it’s like tyler the creator albums. ppl gas it for a week then you just never hear about them again til u get those anniversary posts. i get they wanna like nas again after that disaster nasir album but this isn’t any better

Right. the chart runs for these albums show people dont even like them tbh.
Magic 2 charted for 1 week on bilboard 200 like that means people completely stopped listening 😭😭
Then KD1 and KD2 for 3 weeks; magic and kd3 for 2 weeks.
As a Nas fan, I find them all very enjoyable.
That said, I do think it'd be better if Nas would hone in on certain themes or concepts for each album so that they don't all get lumped together as a series.
This is also an issue I had with my other favorite rapper, Wayne. I'm not really a fan of "series" albums in general which is why I was let down when Kanye initially announced he'd be dropping Donda 2 right after Donda.
That said, the albums are still very consistent, had tight beats that suit Nas's style, and Nas is still rapping as sharp and introspective as ever. He's not dumbing down nor is becoming preachy. He's just rapping about his life, telling stories, speaking on his position and success and coming from an OG angle. I like that.

if these were some of his classics or best work they’d do way better than that and be a constant charter. or at least get talked about more
Oversaturated himself to the point where I lost some respect for his legacy in hip-hop
You NEVER release that many projects in a span of a few years without having their quality being questioned.

Had the opposite effect on me lol. Surpassed Jay Z with this run imo
I'm glad 40+ rappers are out here doing what they love and making music.
That being said I don't listen to him like that so I have no opinion. Happy for him though. Legend in the game
need @WaltDisneyOG opinion on this

I've heard them all and their quality is unquestionably high
