This anti-black men rhetoric is definitely a thing. And honestly it does just seem like a twitter/social media thing but just like other stuff on social media people internalize these type of rhetoric and take it as the truth perpetuate it in their real life.

you have black women and gay men calling us bullet holes and body bags on twitter as if they're fighting against oppression. Like that nigga on the tik tok op post was straight bugging, nigga really said black men are worthless and wont have a legacy. And you have people responding with "accountability" and "where's the lie"

Like s*** like this dont even make sense

The only way I keep my sanity is by constantly reminding myself that the black women on social media don’t represent black women in real life

basically, the little tweets and offhand comments you see on twitter from other black people (mainly black women and gay men) about black men being violent, the weakest links, hateful, etc. will only grow in time and white people will soon jump on it

we're kinda seeing a new wave of dehumanization of the black man and black intellectuals as well as feminists are leading the way

s*** like this is extremely dangerous but it's treated as if it was a joke or something you should ignore

Holy s*** these are sad. Race reductionism is so disgusting. That’s some of the most horrific s*** I’ve seen someone outside of a ku klux klan meeting say about black men...and it came from a black man

Society has been anti-black men for a long time fam, it's just now become a popular thing on social media.

  • Realistically the issues seem to stem from the classic man vs woman s***. No matter what race it's always going to be there. However, black women are often allowed to get away with their "hate of black men" and "jokes" because it is only looked at through the same "man vs woman" lens. That normally would not be that big of a deal if there was at least a level playing field in regards to access. As we know black women have way more access in society (in regards to America) than black men. Yes, we do face the same oppression in regards to our placement on the "racial totem pole" in general. So yes, black men and women are still done dirty by the justice system, educational system, corporate world, etc black women will still have an "easier time" than black men.

There has been a lot of cooning that I've seen from black men that has created the energy I've seen from black women over the years. So understanding where it comes from...I get it. However, black women have gone overboard with generalizations, and because we live in a world where everyone can have a peep inside the lives of others, it makes the generalizations worse. Even moreso since those others taking a peek in feel like they have any room to get involved and speak on things. It also does not help that because black women tearing down black men is pretty much co-signed and celebrated online, you'll see it more often than black men hating black women online. Black men still be on the bullshit don't get it confused, but the reality is there is an overwhelming majority who are not on that kinda bullshit. The coons should not be getting as much recognition as they do.

My solution is simple: Black men just have to handle those goofy niggas more. Black women also need to knock off their goofy s*** too. You can't say some "You niggas would never say the s*** y'all say about black women to your mother, sister, grandmother, etc!" but then also tear apart black men and wish death and jail on them as if they aren't the most classic examples of "Daddy's princess" due to the love and protection they have received from their black fathers, grandfathers, uncles, etc.

The truth is both those kinda black people are just very loud and moronic minorities within our group. Their energy isn't even close to the same wavelength of the overall majority of black individuals. I think the sooner black people as a whole realizes this and stamp those coons out, s*** will be much better for us. I feel like part of the reason why you see it get propped up so much is because it is a very easy division tactic that will eventually lead to less black children. And I mean BLACK children. Not some mixed/biracial, mainly white-passing black children.

To sum all this up though. I get where the energy black women have towards black men comes from. It is valid. However, that is not the majority of us, and they need to stop treating us as if it is. They get mad as hell when that minority of us does that same s***, so what sense does it make to do the same thing when already being aware of what that does to black children? Black men and black women who know better need to be more active in shutting those coons down because the reality is they hold us back more than anything else. We might not fully be able to control how oppressors feel about us, but we can easily and swiftly deal with some stupid s*** among our own.
