Don Toliver didn't need a credit on Astro tracklist for people to recognise him lol, if it's good people will eventually find out.It's wack any way you look at it because Travis needs loads of people to help carry his albums for him but now doesn't wanna credit any of them for their contributions in the way that actually matters.

If artists contributed entire verses and hooks to your songs and you don't credit them, that takes away achievements from things they directly contributed to and that will always be wack.
It's dozens of artists who wouldn't have s*** to their names/legacies if every rapper in history never credited other rappers/singers who appeared on their songs.
I get doing it for the first day or two when many people would be listening to the album for the first time but keeping that s*** up forever is wack. Drake is at least half the reason Sicko Mode was as big as it got and dude didn't get credit for that.
Imagine a smaller, less popular artist has a star performance on a Travis Scott album but never gets credit and so they can't ever directly benefit from their contribution?
theyre credited as song writers on the liner notes tho, if youre credited like that you get those awards and certifications

No, you don't. If you're not credited as a featured or co-lead artist on a song by the artist/record label of the lead artist on a song, you don't get an RIAA certification and it's like you were never on the song to begin with. Same goes for every other award show and even the Grammys. Only the AOTY/SOTY/ROTY awards acknowledge writers/producers. Other awards don't. They just acknowledge the artist and that's it.

I don't mind the all caps thing. I don't even mind that he doesn't credit them on the first day. My thing is that eventually give them their credit because your album isn't as good without them. That's why you got so many artists to contribute to your album in the first place. And they should also share in any/all the success the songs they contributed to gets.
