The Big 3 is just our generation’s Pac/Biggie from the 90s. People our age who came up on 2010s music will never put another 2010s rapper in the same breath as them, even if they deserve to be in the conversation.

I think guys like Travis and Tyler surpassed Cole a very long time ago

Not comparing the 2 albums really just what they seem to represent for each artist’s career moving forward (though obviously it’s still early to tell with Travis we gotta see where he goes from here)

I think in relative terms, for what rap was in the 2010s and where it was by 2018, you can make the argument that Astroworld was the Graduation of that decade

The comparison makes sense, its not that Astro is as good or important as Grad but

-Third album that took them from a rap star to a superstar
-More accessible colorful and bright than the previous two albums
-Career defining albums followed by tragedy

They play similar roles in their respective careers

Kinda crazy when you think about it. Their discographies are pretty damn consistent. They're good at branding / world building with their s*** too, so I don't get why folks are so hesitant to rank them that high lol
