Yeah it spiraled plot wise but tbh so did the first one. That started with a couple dying and trying to haunt the new tenants out to somehow Beetlejuice trying to marry a teen and the dead couple co-parenting with the living one

I was cringing through some of her scenes idk if it's the writing or that's just her range now

Lydia in this felt discontinuous with the teenage Lydia
