I do Uber eats lol

I been doing it since beginning of 2020 on/off

But quit my job in Nov 2020 and started doing this

Before this I was working a pool job putting in 40-50 hours a week making a salary of $550 a week. So no matter how many hours I was putting in, no over time no hourly wage.....

Now I’m averaging like 30-35 hours a week and making probably $50-100 more doing this uber eats

I drive a Toyota Tacoma so gas isn’t crazy good but I still only use a a full tank and a half every week so prob putting like $60 in the tank.

Not sure how tax season is gonna turn out for me cuz Uber does their own thing

Anyways I wanted to reach out to any fellow drivers on KTT & maybe get some tips & tricks or maybe help other people with questions cuz I know the Uber help section is f***ing bullshit

Do y’all accept small like $3 orders??? I can’t stand those

My friend said he does a rule where if he’s not making a dollar for every Mile he won’t do it

I’ve been following that rule & skipping pretty much anything under $6

Hell no don't accept those let other idiots take them, personally I don't accept anything under 7 and even then I'm only doing a 7 if it's close af

i think our system is a little different than uber eats in terms of pay, but yeah the general rule is at least a dollar per mile, and f*** anything under $6 at minimum

knowing where to be to get orders, and the right kind of orders, is really the only thing that really makes a difference. i started off making like $12 an hour on this, now i’m hitting $30 pretty regularly. sure i’ve gotten better at picking up food and s*** as fast as possible, but that jump in pay is almost completely from where i was and what orders i chose to decline

Ya I hate when those pop up. I did a $3 one today just cuz it was less than a mile of driving but even then I’m kinda just wasting my TIME

If I get two orders in the teens I can get $30/hr but that’s so rare for me. I live in Tampa bay and we got tons of different areas with boosts but like this week I’m averaging $18/hr

U live in like a more urban area or something? Or higher cost of living? I kinda live in the outskirts of my city kinda wann move to st Pete or Tampa

Take advantage of any double orders you get that's how you get $30 an hour
