I could be wrong, but I dont think the door dash driver actually orders the food. You're simply the delivery man

in places like wendys and some places they give u a credit card where u place the order urself

most other times u just pick it up tho

Just accept everything the first day. Then start taking mental note of who takes long to prepare food. It’s different for each place. Don’t ever wait more than 5-10 minutes for an order because that’s money out your pocket. If the customer says the address is wrong tell doordash it’s too far and they’ll cancel the order for you because that’s not your problem. Don’t let customers take advantage of you they usually do that s*** on purpose. Make sure to remember any drinks. This one is personal preference but f*** the red card tbh the orders ready for pickup >>> waiting in line and paying for the food. Other than that the job is easy enough for an idiot to do. You also get paid if the customer doesn’t come out just let the app know after 5-10 mins. Don’t wait half an hour for someone that forgot they ordered food

Dont accept anything less than $1 per mile. I dont accept anything under $7 usually. Also pay attention to where the person lives so you dont drive out of town and not near anything

yea, it was like $7 and i got payed 6 so even if the reimbursement off the receipt doesn’t work i basically broke even. i was only doing this one so i could get the card to pay for meals since i still have a couple hospital shifts left to work lol

might be hotter for orders but the avg pay for ubereats is $12 an hour, doordash is $15

The card only pays for certain meals, mainly fast food joints like McDonalds or Wendys where you have to order out the food yourself. The app lets you know when you have to use the card, Otherwise you dont got to worry about ordering or paying, all you do is say “Doordash for (the customers name)” to the cashier or hostess and they should bring it out if they have it ready
