bro y’all atlanta folk don’t think NYC roads are that bad lmao you got skewed judgement
and for the record rush hour traffic is ASS here. you got a s*** ton of students and people coming home from their jobs, s***s a standstill
this lady at the drive thru asked me who i was there for, i said the name and cops an attitude talmbout “there’s no need to yell at me”
b**** you got sonar hearing or some s*** who the f*** is yelling you wanna get yelled at say less g
feel like easter is finna mean mostly s*** orders
$35.50 in the first hour lol
dd changed s*** and i don’t know how but literally every order has ended up being more for me
before it had to be $8.50 or above or a weird change amount, i just had a $6 end up being $9
ay nice job g, i averaged a lil over 40 an hour last week and s*** is lit. it was more bc promos than tips though
what’d you figure out? if you wanna give game away for free lol
Well the good numbers could be luck. But I placed an order and then picked it up myself to figure out what the bonus tip looks like on the customer end and it confirmed what I thought.
I think DoorDash doesn’t want to show the full total so people still accept $6-9 orders. The cap is probably related to mileage and location, so that’s prolly why 8.50 is a common number for some. mine was cut off at $10 total.
Overall, target expensive restaurants, orders with tons of items, people living in rich areas etc. if someone pays $270 or even $70 for an order they’re likely to tip $30. I pretty much hunt for these kinds of orders and it seems to work.

the weirdest thing that i’ve seen the last few days is a LOT of orders that straight up say $10-$15 pay, and not the huge orders or ones that are like 10 miles away
also how the f*** did you manage to pick your own order up before anyone else took it
like the customer doesn’t control who picks it up, do they?

kind of by chance. The restaurant was almost closed and if no one picked it up I wouldn’t get the food so I tried to get it myself. No reason to do it again but it worked.
so i just did an order that said paid $6 bc it was like a 5 minute order, ended up paying $8
if this is the new norm i f***ing hate it. a lot of the time, $6 isn’t worth it and if you got me guessing every order that’s such a f***ing headache
every f***ing time i think hey wendy’s has been f***ing trash and made me wait 20 minutes for the order, but THIS time it’ll be different
i’m so f***ing mad
hour promo and i accept one from this pizza place as soon as it starts and spend half the promo waiting for the f***ing order. people came in after me, ordered, and still got their s*** before me
i’m ready to smack some b****es fr fr
30 literal f***ing minutes i waited
literally everything was ready the second i walked in but f***ing 2 garlic knots. how the f*** does it take a f***ing half hour to do that
like fr sometimes the employees be f***ing us over for no god damn reason and don’t care and it gets me heated. we ain’t on the same team man
I work at Papa Johns and we have a button to send a delivery order straight to door dash. How does that work for yall? Do you get an option to pick it or not or does Doordash just automatically assign it to a random driver?

they probably just throw it out into the pool of orders everyone gets
that’s interesting though, i was wondering the other day why papa johns would use dd when they have delivery drivers
fr it’s like if i could f*** up your pay you’d wanna f***ing strangle me have some compassion
went from averaging $43 an hour last week to $23 this week
still got the same total as last week tho so i’ll live
