Ayyy that was me
thx man that burger really hit the spot
i logged on them immediately paused bc i had to go to the bank, then spent like 20 minutes doing other s***, but essentially yeah a full hour during a $2.50 promo with one order
i’m talking to my friend about working for a moving company this summer bc this s*** is ass and i’m not trusting it until it’s back to how it used to be, which honestly maybe s***’s become the zeitgeist and it’s gonna take a few months to reach equilibrium again. couldn’t tell ya.
just gotta get a couple more weeks in before i’m outta this swampy ass south for the summer
$3 peak pay 9pm - 12 is slow. I might as well go home
And sleep nigga!
someone must have put a curse on me or some s***
prolly cause pandemic is almost over, ppl getting vaccd up and eating out more. less ppl are forced to be at home now + ppl want to go out to eat now instead of doing takeout.
@op put me in retired fam. after 500+ job applications, 40 interviews im finally kicking off my professional career in tech. From $18 in my bank account back in December to now making 80k/yr
dd got me through hard times and i gotta give credit to this thread for putting me on
keep hustling kings

true, i think a bigger part is all the college students that were ordering from their dorms bc they don't have cars(or they just can't be f***ed to go out) all went back home
tbh i'm still kind of surprised by it. i assumed enough fellow students were working the app it that when all of them left the customer to dasher ratio would stay the same. guess not
s*** really hit me when i walked into a moes yesterday evening and see at least 10 dashers waiting, and like 3 customers in there
i just stood there for a sec, was like "fuck this", ended the dash and called my friend who said he could hook me up with a summer job for a moving company lol. might dash like once a week if it's a little better in utah where the job is, but either way them mormons better tip good, whether it's to movers or dashers
Don't gimmie no bammer food
I won't eat that s***
Better refund me
honey boom, honey boom
might need a new lick especially after these acceptance rate changes they are rolling out
been slow af this week
like how many $35 orders you get in a month even, that's no big deal
i'm more worried they're finna correlate acceptance rate with a priority to new orders, basically meaning if you decline orders you're f***ed. either way, it'll cool off eventually bc s***'s just oversaturated for drivers, but if they starting changing s*** for drivers i don't think a lot of people are finna come back
yea bro this s*** getting out of hand
how far will companies go to not pay their most valuable people?
oh s*** i misread it as it gives top dashers priority for orders that pay $35
yeah that's super f***ed up
