the fact that they changed it to where all orders start at the base pay then go up as people reject them, then on top of that making the base pay lower too, it just makes s*** a total crapshoot

they had a good thing going for people doing this on the side but they f***ed the drivers over because people would order s*** from joints 8 miles away and not tip so it either never gets picked up or it gets delivered cold bc they keep having to bump up the pay until someone finally bites

i personally would just charge customers extra if it’s more than like 5 miles away from them and put that fee straight into driver pay so this problem doesn’t happen. they won’t though

Heard people that claim they "tricked" the algorithm by accepting a few low paying orders and were rewarded with larger paying orders as a "reward." Don't know how true it is though.

i think they just changed it where all orders start off at the base pay then increase as people reject them, eventually capping at the actual amount if enough people decline it. so they probably just accepted orders before they started going up much. it’s just my theory though

s*** went down while i was doing a walgreens order and my red card failed

after a couple swipes i was just like “fuck this” and drove home, the entire time tryna end the dash and it wouldn’t let me lmao

still made $100 today before the app stopped working

so at first my average hourly rate went down when they changed the app this week. From around 22/hr to around 17. But yesterday I started accepting orders I usually wouldn’t and was able to get back up to the normal rate. I think they’ve mostly just started showing even less of the final totals so it’s damn near impossible to tell what’s good or bad.

I think looking at the item number is still accurate a lot of the time, but I’m considering using this para app. Supposedly you can get banned if you get caught using it, but it shows the full tip when you get an order. Anyone in here had experience with it?

Uber Eats is MUCH better, I be getting $10+ orders almost everytime even if its like only for 3 miles
