lmao i never eat out but i'm p sure i'd deal with this at like every joint in town. i always got the same hat on too so i'm easily identifiable

we get base pay, used to be $3 but they lowered it to $2.50 this summer

if you're in an area where it's bussin they'll usually put promos out where you get an extra $1-3 added to each order, that obviously makes it a lot more worthwhile when it's like $12-15 per hour w/o tips instead of like $7-8

just applied to a personal trainer job at my gym, i think i'll probably get it and just do this when the promos are good and i'm not busy

it might get better in like a month with football szn and campus life getting hot, but rn compared to like 9 months ago, s*** has gotten so much worse lol. it can't just be that people are tipping less, dd is f***ing with the drivers

I been skating by on it. Anything less than $13/hr, with no overtime, im gonna have to do Uber eats on the weekends or days off or whatever just no life

they need to fix their dogshit app before it randomly shows me i've been paused for 10 minutes again and i get so fed up that i veer off the road into a telephone pole

damn i'm still clearing 400 a week on 20-25 hours but those hours gotta be super specific or i'm not gonna make s***. dinner shifts have been complete ass every day of the week, 11-2 on weekdays is really the only time s*** is consistent

if you need quick money yeah, but it's been going downhill fast the last few months, and i'm not optimistic the people running the app are gonna try and fix it. if you're in a populated area with lots of joints close to where people live it's viable(think a college town, that's where i'm at), otherwise nah

Tuesdays and wednesdays seem to be the worst.

Weekends def the best, seems like people tip the most on Sundays.

For me though, I’m not taking taxes into account when I’m already trying to do the most I can get out the app.

So I been job hunting and I’m getting pretty desperate. I live in a downtown area so I might try to pick up a serving job close by then do Uber eats if need be.

But also been applying to tons of other places waiting for someone to give me the call back

yeah i gave a resume to my gym yesterday trying to get a personal trainer job, we'll see how that goes

weekends have honestly been worse than weekdays for me lol, lunch shifts are about the same but for dinner it's sitting in a lot for 15 minutes between most orders. i just need them to bring those $3 weekend promos back hopefully college football on saturdays and NFL on sundays brings em back but dd has made it pretty clear these past few months they're cool f***ing over the drivers

i honestly thought it would just be temporary until people stopped dashing and they realize they need to get the pay better again for people to do it, but at this point idk anymore. if it's still this s***ty in a month or two, i'm probably done and just gonna be having my fingers crossed the company burns lol

try it out, it honestly depends on your area. give it a week or two for you to figure out how to work it efficiently though. also don't be taking the 6+ mile orders, 9/10 times they're a huge waste of time
