Just accept everything the first day. Then start taking mental note of who takes long to prepare food. It’s different for each place. Don’t ever wait more than 5-10 minutes for an order because that’s money out your pocket. If the customer says the address is wrong tell doordash it’s too far and they’ll cancel the order for you because that’s not your problem. Don’t let customers take advantage of you they usually do that s*** on purpose. Make sure to remember any drinks. This one is personal preference but f*** the red card tbh the orders ready for pickup >>> waiting in line and paying for the food. Other than that the job is easy enough for an idiot to do. You also get paid if the customer doesn’t come out just let the app know after 5-10 mins. Don’t wait half an hour for someone that forgot they ordered food

Could you explain your red card sentiment? I’m a dasher but have yet to do a delivery cause I’m a POS and was wondering what the red card was even for lol

If you want to make money you might as well start doing what I'm doing and make money off people ordering DoorDash instead of being a driver. I could sell you 1000 DoorDash accts with $15 credit on each one for $500 cash. That's $15,000 of DoorDash credit which you can sell for 7500

So the red card is for wasting your time and standing in line and then ordering the food exactly how it’s sent in on the screen. Then you wait for them to make it and pay using the red card. Then you plug in the exact totals and take a picture of the receipt.

Orders where you walk in, show them the name of the customer, it’s already made and you grab it and go
