made the money i was aiming for for today in like 2 hours, but still got 18 more dashes to do by the end of tomorrow to get that $100 challenge
luckily i live in a 1st floor apartment right by all the hot campus spots so i’ve literally just been chilling at the crib while the app runs and rejecting orders til i get a good one that’s close, then spend 10 minutes delivering and back to chilling
only gonna be dashing for the rest of my last year of college(probably) but gd i love this job man
Lmao bruh I went ahead and said order delivered cause I was a minute away from Peak Pay ending. Customer was like the picture is clearly you in the car
Got my nigga his order though and pay was nice
i th ink it still counts as long as you either accept or deliver while it’s active
could be wrong tho
@DatniggaKaylin how do regular payments work? Does it just automatically put it in your account every Monday?
Theres software you cam use to track it. Also use this app called stride it lets you track all your tax write off including your milage. Just turn it on before you dash
You got until tax season(like April) nigha. And with covid who knows they might delay tax s*** again next year.
The tax software will calculate all that for you so just set it aside in an account when you get it so you dont have to come up with the money later
And make sure that you have every dime listed or the IRS WILL audit you and it will not be fun
have you filed yet?
Wait don’t listen to that. Doubled checked and I’m wrong, I didn’t file last year tho since I barely worked.
My sister did tho and she still got a tax refund and had to pay nothing (she makes way less from doordash than her job tho). If you’re making less than 15k I don’t think you have much to worry about, at most you’ll pay around 15% if you track mileage well.
Hell yeah. I tracked 78 miles so far and I’m already getting a $45 tax deduction. Also track any purchases made for your car including chargers, maintenance, phone bill, tolls, parking, roadside assistance, and phone accessories. Pretty much anything that has to do with your car and phone. You’ll get those purchase amounts deducted from your taxes also
I've been considering it but it seems like a lot more than say Amazon delivering like plus people are on some f*** s*** when it comes to food, their order has 9 substations
