Turn down as many orders as you want, drive in areas with lots of food, deliver to rich neighborhoods, find some good audiobooks and podcasts. $75 in 3 hrs is a damn good start tho, you’ll do just fine.

Dont take the low orders, when you enter a restaurant dont wait just go up to them immediately and tell them the order you’re waiting for, if youre still waiting just keep checking up because sometimes theyll be an ass and wont tell you when its ready even tho you already told them you were here, leave a message after you leave it at the door they’ll be more likely to give you a good rating, make sure you dont go too far because youre not getting paid to drive back, download the stride app to track your milage which you can write off on your taxes (try to set a reminder for it because i know i be forgetting that s***), if an order pops up and you dont want it just decline it and you’ll probably get a better order, be around food places even if its not a hotspot because youll just get a whole bunch of orders from there and a lot of time orders with multiple drop off points which youll get more money from

yeah ive done Postmates for about a year so i have decent delivery experience but i never thought there was a better option. It feels like leaving a toxic relationship

You see the total amount youll make before you accept the order and you get it immediately after too

listen to any tips you get itt, but the first week you’re just basically figuring s*** out for the future. take note of which restaurants are on some bullshit and making you wait 10 minutes after you get there, which ones only do drive thru, etc. the best way to do this is either take smaller orders from fast places where you can be doing like 4+ deliveries an hour, or places like steakhouses where you’re probably gonna get orders for a family that’ll tip good

take note of the distance you’re driving too, that s*** is honestly the most important. the rule of thumb is a dollar per mile you’ll drive, but also make sure that the place you’re delivering to isn’t in the boonies, otherwise you gotta drive all the way back just to get another order

don’t worry about the acceptance rate either. it doesn’t mean s*** except you can’t dash whenever you want on a whim, but you can still schedule yourself whenever you want and every breakfast lunch and dinner period it’ll be busy and you’ll be able to dash anyway

welcome to the thread homie. i’ll add you to op
